Born and raised in Greenville, SC, singer-songwriter Mark Webb Jr carries a tender voice and unique timbre that embodies real Americana. Taking inspiration from life experiences, overheard conversations and current events, Mark writes and curates songs that echo the cuts, bruises and blossoms of life.
Signing to Gold Ship Records, Mark released his debut EP, Home, on July 8th. He quickly made No Depression's list of "Rookies on the Rise" for 2016. Mark most recently celebrated the release of his sophomore album, ‘Smoke Wine Banter,’ on April 26th, 2019.
Mark has shared the stage with musicians such as American Aquarium, Turnpike Troubadours, Jill Andrews, Justin Townes Earle, and more. He’s also had the pleasure of co-writing with Ted Russell Kamp and Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba. His collaboration with Ted Russell Kamp, “Heart Under Pressure,” recently made Rolling Stone’s “10 Best Country and Americana Songs to Hear Now.” “Open My Eyes,” Mark’s collaboration with Dashboard Confessional, was released early 2018 on their album ‘Crooked Shadows,’ and debuted on the Billboard 200 chart and made the top 5 on both Top Rock Albums and Top Alternative Albums.
