From Gold Ship Records:

"On November 15th, alternative rock band, Dashboard Confessional, made the official announcement that they will be releasing their first new album since 2009 called, 'Crooked Shadows.' We were not only excited to hear about the release but to also see the track listing. "Open My Eyes," officially track number 7 on the forthcoming album, is a song that our very own Mark Webb Jr co-wrote alongside the band's frontman and mastermind, Chris Carrabba.

A co-write and collaboration on a song is always an exceptional opportunity, but this one means even more to Mark. "Chris and I have been friends for quite some time, and it was only natural that we would eventually write a song together. What makes this song special for me is that Chris has always been a hero of mine. If you would have told me when I was in high school that I would have a co-write on a Dashboard Confessional album, I would have called you a liar," Mark said.

It has been an absolute joy working with the Dashboard Confessional team and management to be able to make this happen. This is going to be a great addition to Gold Ship publishing.

"It was a very unique situation as to how this song came to be. I'd say most good songs happen in an interesting way. I am absolutely honored that this song made the cut for 'Crooked Shadows,' especially since this is Dashboard's first album in 9 years," Mark added.

'Crooked Shadows' drops February 9th, 2018. Until then, you can download and stream their newest single, "We Fight" on iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play and Spotify (linked below)."

Mark Webb Featured In Greenville Journal

Check out the debut of my new single "Queen" from my forthcoming EP Home! Many thanks to Andrew Moore and Greenville Journal for a great article!

Here's an excerpt from the article:

"Greenville singer-songwriter Mark Webb is a troubadour just trying to find his place in the music industry. His 11-year career has produced three albums, but none of them have felt “polished” to him. That’s why he considers his upcoming release his debut.

Webb releases his newest record — “Home” — on July 8 through Gold Ship Records.

The five-song album, which was recorded at Studio 101 in Woodruff, is the end product of years spent inside Greenville coffee houses.

It features more twang than ever before, something thought to be impossible for the Americana musician who grew up listening to Hank Williams and George Jones. The songs also feature strong lyrics with pop sensibility. And the confidence in Webb’s voice mirrors the fact that he’s not the new kid on the block."
